ALUMNI OF SMACH WIND ORCHESTRA REUNION 2009
LAPORAN MAJLIS
Baru-baru ini, Alumni SMACH Wind Orchestra telah mengadakan majlis reunion yang amat menyeronokkan. Maklumat reunion adalah seperti berikut:
Tempat : Pantai Irama. Bachok
Tarikh : 9 Mei 2009 (Sabtu)
Masa : 3 petang – 7 petang
Tujuan majlis tersebut diadakan adalah untuk mengumpulkan kembali semua bekas ahli SMACH Wind Orchestra yang telah tamat persekolahan dan yang telah terpisah beberapa tahun yang lalu di samping mengeratkan hubungan silaturrahim antara satu sama lain.
Tetamu yang hadir pada majlis reunion tersebut adalah terdiri dari bekas pelajar batch #0004# hingga batch #0408# dan diserikan lagi dengan kehadiran guru penasihat SMACH Wind Orchestra yang telah banyak memberi tunjuk ajar kepada kami iaitu Tuan Noriman Raja Senik dan isterinya Puan Suzaini Adnan.
Sepanjang majlis tersebut berlangsung, pelbagai aktiviti menarik telah diadakan. Salah satu daripadanya ialah BBQ yang mana merupakan aktiviti utama kami pada hari tersebut. Kami juga telah disajikan dengan pelbagai jenis juadah yang amat menyelerakan. Selain itu,sesi cabutan bertuah telah diadakan untuk memeriahklan lagi majlis pada hari tersebut. Majlis tersebut tidak berakhir dengan begitu sahaja. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan perlantikan ahli jawatankuasa tertinggi sementara Alumni SMACH Wind Orchestra. Perlantikan jawatankuasa sementara tersebut adalah seperti berikut:

Kami juga telah mengisi masa kami dengan bermain bola sambil menikmati angin pantai sebelum pulang ke rumah masing-masing.
Lebih kurang pukul 7.00 petang, semua tetamu dan guru penasihat mulai bersurai. Majlis berjalan dengan lancar. Walaupun letih, kami berasa amat gembira kerana dapat bersua kembali setelah terpisah untuk beberapa tahun. Diharapkan majlis sebegini akan diadakan lagi pada masa yang akan datang.

NEW INSTRUMENTS
On the 9th of April 2009, SMACH WIND ORCHESTRA have received about 20 new YAMAHA music instruments.The instruments include trumpets, oboes, french horns, saxophones, clarinets, Bb tuba and etc. However, some of the instruments still new for the band like oboes and french horn and may be will not be used for this year competition. We need to practice and learn more about the instruments. However, at the moment, SMACH WIND ORCHESTRA have about 70 instruments that can be used. It is huge number of capacity and we are able to produce a very nice sound with very good quality. It raise our spirit and confident. With the new instruments, SMACH WIND ORCHESTRA are able to perform well and hopefully will strike what we want for this year (Anugerah emas and final 2009).
